The first step in the training process is to perform a training needs assessment which involves four stages—organizational analysis, problem analysis, role/task analysis and learner analysis.
Once the company and staff needs have been identified, the learning objectives for which the training is to be conducted are established
The next step is to design an appropriate training programme in line with the set objectives
Once the designing of the training programme is completed, the next step is to put it into action, get feedback and sign off the training.
This last step involves reviewing the training programme to make sure it is effective and delivering desired outcomes. This is through employee feedback on the training sessions, whether they liked them and feel like they learnt.
